ForcumWeb is involved on a project with humor short story author and blogger,  Danny Roberts. We have created a blog site Driving The Short Bususing Joomla!, as opposed to WordPress. Not that we have made a judgment on which system is BETTER, as much as our having made a judgment on which system would best serve the writer in this case. The site will not only be the home for Danny's blog,in which he showcases his short stories, but also several other content items (such as site gear sales). Joomla! offers the best solution for a multi-purpose blog/website.

We are in the process of trying out several blogging scripts to utilize within the Joomla! platform, and we may have settled on the built-in blogging script. This, along with a few independent scripts which allow several functions (i.e. blog calendar) that one normally expects with a blog, seems to fit our purposes quite well.
